Posted by: on Oct 26, 2011 | No Comments

500 grams (approx. 17 ounces) brussels sprouts
5 1/4 ounces (150 grams) bacon
1 cup cream
1 tbp yellow mustard
3 tbsp soy sauce
1 carrot

If you’ve heard about brussels sprouts being useful, but you’re not used to to cook and eat it yet – this post is for you. You’ll be surprised how tasty brussels sprouts can be!
In a bowl, mix cream, mustard and soy sauce and stir thoroughly. Peel cabbages and cut them into quarters. Grate the carrots. Put the cabbage, carrots and bacon in a saucepan, cover with sauce and stir. Simmer over medium heat for about 20 minutes.

Note: You can use fresh and frozen brussels sprouts, but keep in mind that the frozen one is cooked faster. You can also use bacon cut in little cubes.
